How to Enter
Enter online at www.aippawards.com and follow the prompts. Online entries close 5.00 p.m. AEST Thursday, 9th August 2018.
- 3000 pixels on the longest side;
- Adobe RGB colour space (not greyscale or sRGB);
- Saved as JPEG, setting 9;
- File named using the following format: State2018-LastNameFirstInitial-Number.jpg”, e.g. “QLD2018-SmithJ-1.jpg”.
Complete the online entry process, being sure you have entered the correct category, that you have provided caption details if required, and that you have declared the people or services you have engaged to assist in the preparation of your print entries.
When the online entry has been completed and paid, print a copy of the supplied print identification labels and address labels. Place print identification label on the back of your mount in the top left hand corner. This determines how your print will be oriented to the judges.
Print and mount your images in accordance with the print presentation instructions. The size of the image as seen by the judges must be a minimum of 26 cm on its longest side. If your matte covers the edge of the print, you will need to make the print slightly larger to meet this requirement. Prints can be larger, up to the 50x40cm mount size. The only exception is where the medium used (e.g. Polaroid Transfer) dictates the image size, in which case the image must be presented at its full size.
Send mounted prints in an official AIPP print case (available from www.aipp.com.au) to the address below. (For Overseas entrants, see Special Instructions for Shipping)
Deliver to: Photography Studies College, 65 City Road, Southbank VIC 3006.
Print cases must be received by 5.00 p.m. Thursday, 16 August 2018.
ALL CATEGORIES EXCEPT ALBUM REQUIRE PHYSICAL PRINTS TO BE SUBMITTED AFTER ONLINE ENTRY IS COMPLETE.
